Ford Hockey School Next Level Camp

Travel Squirts and Peewees (If you played Peewees last season, you’re welcome to join)

July 6–10 | Fifth Third Arena

This five-day camp is designed for motivated travel players ready to push their game forward. Built around Ford Hockey School’s train with purpose approach, this week blends high-end skill development, real game application, hockey IQ, and athletic development to help players take the next step.

Hosted at the Chicago Blackhawks’ official training facility, players will experience a pro-level environment while being challenged both mentally and physically every day.

Daily Structure

Drop-off: Begins at 9:00 AM

On-Ice Session 1 | 9:30–11:00 AM

Each morning starts with focused skill development. Players work on advanced techniques and concepts, emphasizing not just how to execute skills, but why they matter and when to use them in game situations. Puck control, decision-making, spacing, and deception are core themes.

Off-Ice + Hockey IQ Block | 11:15–12:00

Players fully undress and split into two groups:

  • One group completes a structured workout focused on functional movement, coordination, balance, and competitiveness

  • The other group participates in a Hockey IQ video session, breaking down real game situations and learning how to apply concepts on the ice

Off-ice sessions also include small-area games like handball and soccer to build awareness, movement without the puck, and competitive instincts that translate directly to hockey.

Lunch | 12:00–12:30 PM

Off-Ice + Hockey IQ Session | 12:20–1:00 PM

Groups rotate so every player completes both the workout and video session each day.

On-Ice Session 2 | 1:20–2:30 PM

The afternoon ice is all about application. Players compete in small-area games and situational drills that reinforce what was taught earlier in the day. The focus is reading pressure, making plays under stress, and playing with confidence and edge.

Wrap-Up & Pick-Up

Players undress at 2:30 PM. Pick-up is by 3:00 PM.
