MITES President’s Day Camp
Hot Shots Ice Arena
February 16
Ford Hockey School’s MITES President’s Day Camp is built specifically for young players who are learning how to skate, handle the puck, and most importantly, learn how to play the game through movement, games, and decision-making.
This camp blends on-ice skill development with off-ice games and Hockey IQ video in a fun, high-energy environment designed for Mites.
On the ice, the focus is on skating, puck control, and foundational hockey habits taught through stations and game-based learning. Off the ice, players stay active with soccer and handball style games that build coordination, awareness, and competitiveness. Video sessions introduce basic Hockey IQ concepts in a simple, age-appropriate way.
The day finishes with extended small area games where players get tons of puck touches, make decisions, and compete.
